Laboratory for Innovation in Electronics and Embedded Systems

We train, design and innovate to accelerate technological development in Africa.

About HNLabs

Electronics Innovation Laboratory & Academy for the Engineers of Tomorrow

HNLAB, electronics and robotics explained simply to your children.

At HNLAB, we believe a child who touches, handles and builds remembers far more than one who just listens. That's why our workshops are 100% hands-on: no long theory lessons, but hands in the grease from the very first minutes.

100% hands-on teaching

Every session focuses on building, not reciting.

Robotics

Bring matter to life by building mobile robots able to react to their environment.

Small groups

Small class sizes to ensure attentive, high-quality guidance.

Electronics

Build your first real circuits to understand how electric current flows and is controlled.

A safe space in Ndogbong

A calm, protective environment suited to young people in Douala.

Introduction to coding

Master computing logic in a visual, intuitive way without worrying about syntax.

Future-facing themes

From coding to AI, preparing your children for future tech careers.

Discovering AI

Train your first intelligent models to understand how a machine learns on its own.

Our philosophy

Learning by doing. We're convinced that a child's curiosity grows faster in front of a circuit that lights up or a robot that moves than in front of a whiteboard. Our workshops are designed so that every participant handles, tests, makes mistakes and starts again in a supervised, safe and caring environment.

What we do

We run hands-on workshops during holidays and weekends, open to children, teenagers and even adults eager to learn new things.
